Brent U13 14-2 Harrow U13
Brent finished their league campaign winning all 8 of their Compton Cup league games with a 14-2 away win against Harrow. Dominic D’Souza scored 4 goals and Drilon Krasniqi bagged a hat-trick as Brent ran riot scoring 10 goals in a scintillating second half performance. D’Souza almost scored in the 5th minute when through on goal but shot wide before putting Brent 1-0 up on 10 minutes when he ran through on goal from a Krasniqi pass and scored with a low shot that went in off the post. On 12 minutes it was 2-0 after Ghellor Kweme won the ball on the left and passed to Krasniqi in the Harrow 6 yard box and he slotted home.
D’Souza, Kweme and Shammer Swaby all had efforts on the Harrow goal that went close before Krasniqi scored his second goal direct from a free kick from outside the Harrow penalty area. Swaby almost scored Brent’s 4th when shooting just wide after good work by Zac Cowen on 30 minutes before Cowen’s brilliant volley just cleared the Harrow bar. Kweme made it 4-0 just before half time when the ball was not cleared in the Harrow penalty area and he fired home.
Harrow started the second half brightly and forced an early corner before pulling a goal back with a shot from outside the penalty area. Brent responded and D’Souza scored his second goal on 43 minutes firing home after Swaby’s initial shot on goal was well saved by the Harrow goalkeeper and 2 minutes later D’Souza scored his hat-trick running through on goal from just inside the Harrow half from another Krasniqi pass and slotting the ball calmly home to make the score 6-1. Swaby made it 7-1 beating 2 defenders before finishing superbly before Ahmed Mahdi made it 8-1.
D’Souza scored his 4th goal when he redirected Krasniqi’s shot on goal for Brent’s ninth before Harrow scored their second goal. Krasniqi scored his hat-trick heading home from a D’Souza corner on 57 minutes before Ismail Mansour’s thunderbolt from just inside the Harrow penalty area made it 11-2. Mahdi made it 12 with perhaps the goal of the match lobbing the Harrow goalkeeper from just inside the Harrow half. Swaby scored his second after dribbling past 3 defenders before smashing the ball home and Cowen scored Brent’s final goal to make the final score 14-2.
